Shower, wash basin and toilet clean. Grubby, main thoroughfare stair carpet was a bit off putting, but once inside the room, OK. Would have liked a kettle and toothmug in the room as not provided. I was in Room 4 at the back so no traffic noise from the busy main road. It’s an old building with wonky floors and creaking stairs so foot traffic very noisy 6pm to 11pm approx. Plenty of forecourt parking and a variety of local takeaways to choose from. The rooms are above what is basically a working men's club where you feel like you'll be assaulted or robbed as you walk in. The room was covered in dirty marks on the wall, there was no tea or coffee making facilities, the heater doesn't heat and tv has no channels tuned in and is basically just for wall decoration. There is no free breakfast either.
