Décevant malgré une jolie petite plage
L’hôtel est très vieillissant ce n’est pas un 4 étoiles 1/2 du tout. La salle de bain est très vieille et donne une impression de saleté, idem les toilettes. Les lits ne sont pas confortables malheureusement et la climatisation très bruyante. Service restaurant assez épouvantable on ne mange jamais ensemble, les plats arrivent les uns derrière les autres, et les boissons sont servis à la fin du repas. C’est assez pitoyable et décevant. Le personnel est très aimable mais fort peu compétent.

Il y a eu un problème car j’avais réservé une chambre pour deux adultes et deux enfants et il n’y avait qu’un seul lit dans la chambre !?!!! J’ai dû repayer 65 $ pour avoir un seul lit ! Dear Frederic, We apologize for any inconvenience you might have had during your stay. Guest satisfaction is our priority and we are very sorry that we fell short of your expectations. We are committed on the transparency to our guests and information on the room information is stated on the third-party travel site that the Suite Room has a king size bed and extra bed is available upon request. The standard capacity for maximum number of guests per room is either 2 adults + 2 children (below 12 years old), or 3 adults. Children who are 11 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a shared room with a paying adult however fees apply for breakfast or should an extra bed be required. I wish to assure you that what you experienced is not typical of the quality we deliver and we will be using the feedback you provided to make improvements. Lastly, we are truly sorry for the inconveniences caused and hope that this hasn’t put you off a return stay with us again.

Good resort in general, but I booked 2 rooms with king size beds and the hotel was unable to offer me the second room with the king size bed (only twin bed). Also we should wait for the installation of the baby cots several hours, but fortunately babies were patient....

Bintan, c'est vraiment de l'escroquerie
Hotel très bien, rien de négatif par contre dès qu'on parle de la restauration, c'est vraiment de l'escroquerie. Les prix sont extrêmement plus cher qu'à Singapour. J'ai payé 30 SGD pour ce qui devait être un demi poulet avec des frites. J'ai reçu la moitié d'un petit coquelet tout rachitique. Déjà qu'on a pas le choix car il faut vraiment rouler un moment avant de croiser un resto en dehors du resort, mais en plus la qualité de la nourriture est vraiment de l'escroquerie par rapport au prix astronomique. Je ne retournerai plus jamais à Bintan et je conseille à tous de vous trouver d'autres destinations autour de Singapore. En plus le ferry c'est pas donné donc en faisant les comptes entre ce que coute un billet+hotel+nourriture à Phuket par exemple, je pense qu'on doit pas être beaucoup plus cher que Bintan au final.

Service Impeccable comme l'état de l'hotel
Le personnel est très accueillant. Le séjour est idéal en couple ou en famille, la piscine offre une vue imprenable sur la mer de Chine. Il y a une plage privé à coté, une salle de fitness à 1min et pas mal d'activités sportives. Nous y sommes restés 3 jours ce qui nous a paru très suffisant. La nourriture est bonne et variée. L'hôtel est bien très propre, bien entretenu et bien agencé.

The property is vast and good. The breakfast was good. However the food ordered in the restaurant “The coffee shop” wasn’t great. The fish was so dry and chewy. It was not even close to soft. The other restaurants like Kelong and Dino was better.

Comfortable place with good service. Renovations happening at some places that created some noise and smoke. Some f&b segments were closed too and on Mondays but generally the stay was enjoyable. Would have preferred to be given a pool/beach facing room since it was quiet on a Monday but was given the back facing unit.

Jättefin resort. Lite ödsligt på vardagar då även restauranger stänger så utbudet blir begränsat. På helgen lever resorten upp, hela utbudet är öppet och det är ett mycket trevligt ställe.

The beach was covered in sticky tar, we couldn't go in the water or even walk on the beach. The resort also seemed dead, there was 3 or so families in the entire resort. Everything was incredibly expensive and the staff were not service oriented at all. Bad customer service, expensive resort, not a happening place.

Sorry, you couldn't enjoy the beach thoroughly due to the pollution. We know how this can interrupt the vacation fun and the frustration falls on our resort too. We have feedback this to the relevant authorities and hope that it won’t affect the resort for long as we work hard on promoting our lovely beach. We have also extended more manpower to clean the beach in the meantime. Due to the travel restrictions happening globally, it has affected most tourism industry and the occupancy at our Resort. The priority of all travellers come first and we wish everyone strength and good health as we overcome this global pandemic together. Although you had indicated otherwise, I do hope you would give us another opportunity to welcome you back for a more memorable stay with us next time.

Nice change before heading home
Resort is located an hours ferry ride from Singapore (terminal is close to Changi Airport). The ferry ride was pretty good but we had a few patches of rough seas. On arrival the pre arranged bus was waiting for us to take us straight to the resort and on arrival we were greeted with a short local welcome dance and drink. Check in was easy and everyone was very friendly. There were not alot of visitors at that time of year (mid Jan appears to be their slow season till Chinese New Year starts in Feb). Resort was still lovely but without the touristy vibe with half of the activities closed I guess due to lack of patronage and many places took advantage of this time to do maintenance. The rooms were basic but had what we needed. A free shuttle bus was offered to go to nearby places within Nirwana Gardens if required. We were only there 1 night. If we stayed longer we would have tried one of the golf courses there as they looked amazing and town apparantly was an hour and half away where the Temples and Elephant park was. Still a pleasant interlude before heading back home although reasonably expensive to stay too long.
