A stroll through the village of Bigfork reveals a vibrant arts culture. Along Electric Avenue there are art galleries, artists-in-residence, live community theater, as well as summer concerts in Sliter Park. The condo is located downtown and is just steps from a variety of bars, shops, cafes, bakeries, fine and casual restaurants, Bigfork Bay, Flathead Lake, and the Swan River Nature Trail. This unit comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, with a pull-out couch. A new memory foam mattress has been added to the pull-out couch for a better sleep. The unit can accommodate 4 adults if they are willing to share 2 beds and a bathroom located in the bedroom. This second-floor condo features two Adirondack chairs on the front porch to take in the sights and sounds of the Swan River and downtown Bigfork. Stay warm with forced-air heating and cool with central air conditioning. The condo has a smart TV and a DVD player in the main living area with books, puzzles, and games to keep everyone entertained. Connected to the living room is a spacious bedroom for sleeping in with a king size bed and smart TV. The bathroom has a bathtub, shower, and a toilet with a bidet, stocked with a hairdryer, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The fully stocked kitchenette has pots, pans, dishes, microwave oven, electric cooktop, toaster oven, mini refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, soda stream, coffee maker, coffee grinder, glassware, and flatware. The kitchen comes stocked with coffee and other cooking essentials. The unit includes a washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided. It also comes with a pack-and-play for guests traveling with small children and infants. In addition to stairway access, there is a public elevator available and plenty of outside parking. Downtown street parking is also available for your use. We have free wireless internet available so you can stay connected with family and friends. (There is no land line phone, but cell service is widely available.) Dogs are allowed, but there is a pet fee and you must let us know in advance. The condo comes stocked with dog water and food bowls. Flathead Lake, which Bigfork Bay empties into, offers boating, fishing, and many other water sports. There is also rafting, tubing, kayaking, swimming and fly fishing in the local rivers. In the winter enjoy cross country skiing at Bigfork Community Nordic trails and Blacktail Mountain Nordic trails groomed by the North Shore Nordic Club. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing can also be found in and around Glacier National Park and at Big Mountain in Whitefish. For those that prefer downhill skiing and snowboarding check out Big Mountain in Whitefish and Blacktail Mountain in Lakeside. In the summer hike the Swan River Nature Trail, Glacier National Park, the Bob Marshall and Jewel Basin Wilderness Areas, or enjoy excellent golf courses, including Eagle Bend Golf Course in Bigfork. The Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork has horses for rent while the Majestic Valley Arena in Kalispell and the Blue Moon Cafe in Columbia Falls have rodeos to attend during the summer months. Enjoy Glacier National Park and its sister, Canada's Waterton Lakes Park, and all they have to offer. You can immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the wilderness they are both known for. Millions of acres of untamed wilderness surround you! The key was easy to get from lockbox per directions. The door opens to the living/kitchenette area, we found dirty counters and dirty dishes in the sink which was unfortunate. Then in the bedroom area we found dirty towels crumpled up on the chest by the bed and an unmade bed that had obviously been slept in and not taken care of after, which we can only assume has been since before the 1/23 notice on the door. I reached out to the host to inquire about new bedsheets and linens but have still not heard back even tho it is now the next day. Luckily we were able to find clean pillowcases but no clean sheets in the part of the closet that was unlocked. It was late at night and no other accommodations to find so we laid out 2 throw blankets on the mattress and used one as a top blanket. The place has potential to be very nice if it was cleaned, the location is nice for downtown bigfork and being able to walk to bars, restaurants and the river but unfortunately made for not a nice stay having to makeshift blankets and clean up counters etc and no communication from host. . was very inconvenient and will be requesting a refund ##### Camille M. I was in Big Fork for a wedding. The music from the nearby Garden Bar went very late on the Saturday night but the bedroom in the loft was quiet and buffered from the sounds. This would be an easy 5/5 except there was no power in the unit for several hours, we werent there most of that time but it was still a major inconvenience. We messaged and called the host several times with no response, finally still with no response the power turned back on.
