The location on the water was peaceful and really convenient for fishing with the boat dock. The pool was a great size, and the outdoor space by the pool was everyone’s favorite for hanging out. The house was really well equipped for two families. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a nice size, and the kitchen and living room were very spacious. The kitchen was beautifully stocked with everything you need. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking and biking. Key deer would drop by for a visit each evening. The home was perfect for entertaining our family members who visited, only a 40 minute drive to the Key West airport, and all the entertainment options there. But SO peaceful and quiet, deer stopped by often, we walked the bridge to No Name key almost daily, kayaked and biked. We called in with a couple minor issues and they were handled very promptly. We rented a boat and the dock was great for that. The outdoor area was great for hanging out at night, we did pay the additional fee to heat the pool and were glad we did! Big Pine Key is our idea of the best vacation spot, grocery stores and other shops close by, but not the busyness you find in other keys. For those that fish/dive and have a boat, what a great place to stay.
