We are always available for any questions about the cabin or needs in the Big Bear Lake area - don't hesitate to call or text for help.

Big Bear is Southern California’s 4-season mountain escape. Located in the heart of Southern California, it is the jewel of the San Bernardino National Forest, known for excellent fishing, snow sports, hiking, mountain biking and a vibrant theater, and music scene.

Free, off-street, driveway parking for 2 cars only.

City of Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking.

Vehicles parked on the street blocking neighbors or snowplows, may be cited and/or towed at vehicle owner's expense.

Winter precautions are always in place - you must carry chains from November 1 - April 1. Snow creates limited and "tight" driveway parking - a four-wheel drive vehicle with higher clearance is preferred. Regular vehicles may be challenged by winter icy road or driveway conditions, that is why chains are required. Caltrans and CHP will enforce chain requirements.

Welcome to Hunt Hideaway - your hub for all Big Bear fun! Hike, Bike, Ski, Board, walk to the lake, and just chill out - relax in the hot tub!

Enjoy our CHEERFUL and RELAXING TWO-LEVEL cabin! Enter thru front door - kick off your shoes, relax on our couch and veg-out with the wood-burning fireplace, smart TV, or mix a beverage or coffee in the open-kitchen floor space.

Our cabin has been designed with mountain vibes! Open cabinet-shelf style, niche kitchen table, washer and dryer, fridge.

1st bedroom - Upstairs, cozy king bed, window for plenty of natural light, closet-style rack, 1/2 bathroom and laundry adjacent.

2nd bedroom - Upstairs, 2 cozy queen beds for heavenly sleep, window, closet, bathroom adjacent

Outdoor, private backyard with propane BBQ (we provide), Adirondack lounge chairs, FIREPIT, HOT TUB.

Front deck is perfect for year-round hangout, soaring pines for reading and chilling - our street very little traveled - so very quiet.

Propane BBQ grill provided.

Washer and dryer available (bring your own HIGH-EFFICIENCY laundry soap).

Free Spectrum High Speed internet and WIFI

We may approve 1 or 2 adult, small-to-medium, well-behaved, house-trained and house-broken, family dog (sorry, no cats).

Dog shedding must be kept to a minimum with broom and dustpan. If hair is left in cabin (anywhere), damage from chewing, dog urine or any other dog caused damage - we will provide you with pictures and demand payment for correction.

Per City of Big Bear Lake rules - Dogs may never be left alone in cabin.
