National forest trailhead down the street, close to local restaurants, and near two major ski resorts. 3 Stories with 4 bedrooms (including 3rd floor private suite with two conjoining bedrooms and one bath), Great room with amazing stone fireplace and 2 large bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking utensils. The WiFi was great. There are hiking trails just down the block (you can walk to them) and town is just a short drive. The cabin is SUPER charming, extremely well provisioned, room for a family/group of 10 people (4 twins, three doubles). It’s on three levels with a great big room on the middle floor. It has a big walk out porch with chairs and a well shaded picnic table. The only reason for 4/5 stars on location is because I thought it was going to be closer to the village, but it’s about a 12-15 minute drive. No bigge as it’s in a very quiet neighborhood with nice views, so it’s really not meant to be anything other than a suggestion to the hosts to indicate driving distance to the village (entirely possible that I missed that description so if I did, please let me know and I’ll flip it up to 5 stars. Bottom line: highly recommend and this will be at the top of our list for our next trip to Big Bear. ##### Russell D.
