Soak in the boho vibe, enjoy a candle lit dinner made in your own kitchenette, stoke the wood stove, and cozy up at night in a comfy queen bed. Complete with outdoor shower, private fire pit & outhouse. Only a 7 min drive to Baddeck. Walk 5 mins down a groomed trail (so pack light!) to this incredible off-grid experience. There’s no electricity, so prepare to unplug! SLEEP: Enjoy a queen bed, duvet & bedding, with a futon & bedding for an extra guest. ​EAT: Kitchenette with two-burner stove, french press coffee maker, pantry basics (spices, coffee, tea etc.), cookware, dining ware, and drinking water. Outside, there’s also a propane BBQ and a food/beverage cooler. RELAX: Sit back and enjoy a cast iron wood-burning stove, with indoor kindling & firewood provided. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. It was so cozy with the wood stove, and the kitchenette was perfect. Everything we needed for a great night was provided. There is a very nice 5 minute walk through the forest to get to the yurt, where you come out just a stones throw from the baddeck river.
