Just a five-minute walk through the on-site woodland brings you to the river – ideal for a refreshing dip, a quiet moment of birdwatching, or simply soaking up the serenity. The entire site is blissfully remote, offering uninterrupted calm and a real sense of escape.  
  
Back at the hut, cosy up beside a crackling fire or sit outdoors and enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside. The keys to Dipple Farm Shepherds Hut are accessed via a key safe box. Further details will be provided prior to check-in.  
  
Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle.  
  
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Dipple Farm Shepherd's Hut per reservation.

Clovelly set into a steep hillside, is one of the most famous villages in the world.  
Clovelly has a single cobbled high street winds its way down the hillside to the ancient Clovelly harbour, through traditional whitewashed cottages festooned with fuchsias and geraniums - the street dropping 400ft (half a mile) as it winds its way through Clovelly's 16th century cottages to the harbour.  
Traffic is banned from the high street, visitors parking at the top of the hill adjacent to Clovelly Heritage Centre. For a small fee, a landrover service ferries visitors up and down the steep hill via a back road, to the harbourside Red Lion Public House.  
The street of Clovelly are too steep for motor vehicles, hence why for centuries, donkeys were used for getting up and down the street. Such a nice and peaceful place! The Sheperds hut has everything you need and was immaculately clean, well organized and as beautiful inside as outside. The stars were amazing as there are no lights nearby. I loved my stay!
