Upon entering, an open floor plan seamlessly combining the kitchen, dining area, and living room will greet you. The dining table, large enough for six with extra chairs in the twin room closet, will be the first thing you come across as well as a nice table with plenty of board games and magazines. Then, you'll find the fully-equipped kitchen–the chef of the group will be delighted by all the appliances and utensils available such as full-size fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, and a microwave. The breakfast bar adds two more spaces. It was just two adults. It sleeps 6 but if it is 6 adults/non-smaller children there is not enough room to do anything but be in bed or at kitchen table. Obviously this is more of a summer place so you have other outdoor options. Just saying that it is a good property but if you have 4 adult size people in your party, you will be playing musical chairs on the couch. And I would not fully endorse the description of the kitchen as one that "the chef of the group will be delighted by..." I struggled to find a salad bowl (there was a bowl that suited our purpose but we were only 2), and the number of dishes will require daily running of the dishwashter. My apologies for what sounds like a negative review for it suited my purposes fine (winter breakaway for 2) but I left feeling that it was a rental and not a sharing of a home (as many VRBO places feel). ##### Lisa N. We loved our stay at the SeaColony resort and this condo was everything we wanted it to be. Our kids 8 & 11 shared the room with twin beds even though they could have had separate rooms, and in hindsight we could have invited the grandparents to come stay with us as well. The condo had lots of space and all the amenities we needed. The best part of the condo was the spectacular beach views especially the sunrise in the mornings! The balcony was spacious and had totally unobstructed views of the ocean. We even saw dolphins swimming by! The location was close to Bethany Beach shops and the resort’s private beach was nice and not crowded at all. Also, being about halfway between Rehoboth and Ocena City was convenient for day trips to either of those. What an incredible place and hope to return for a future trip, maybe even next year! ##### Jason C. Jan 14, 2023 #### Sleeper sofa removed without notice to us Unit was nice, however, when we booked this unit it was advertised to sleep 8 (now advertised properly at 6). When we arrived we noticed the couch was not blue as advertised nor did it pull out into a sleeper sofa. We paid for 8 passes for a unit that slept 6 and we had 2 people in our party without a bed. Reached out to Vacasa repeatedly and no one seems too concerned about renters paying for a bed and sleeping on the floor. We will not be renting through Vacasa again. ##### Brian P. We’ll built building made our condo nice and quiet at night, felt very private even though it’s a giant complex. The parking should be better labeled. Right on the beach with excellent access. The space was spacious, bright, clean, comfortable, and secure. There were ample blankets and sheets, towels, dishes, pots and pans, utensils. I wish I had brought additional dishwasher soap and garbage bags. I'm glad I brought laundry detergent. There were TVs in every bedroom and in the living room. Attractive furnishings. Nice beach. We had an issue with the hot water and someone came out immediately to remedy it. Although check-in and check- out went smoothly, we did think the inflexible 4 o’clock check in was late in the day. Even if the unit is cleaned and ready the code can not work until 4\. Also the 10 o’clock check out seemed early. My only real negative comment about this property is the mandatory “weekly” facilities fee charged on top of the rental costs. We stayed only 3 nights but had to pay the full fee which increased our rental by over 300 dollars. Perhaps there are many amenities on grounds but we were unable to take advantage of them in just over 2 days. Whoever rented the place after us is also paying this “weekly” fee which means Sea Colony could be collecting this fee 2 or even 3 times per week. It should be prorated according to length of stay. ##### Lynn H.
