(22 reviews) We loved staying at the Canary! The staff will bend over backwards to accommodate you. Everything is spic and span. And it haopens to be one of the less expensive hotelsnin the neighborhood. Which, we loved. Lots of interesting restaurants and shops within walking distance. And their "continental breakfast" is way better than what i expected as an American, used to American "continental breakfasts." It's a delicious spread of breads, vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts, hot eggs (scrambled or hard boiled), yogurt, nuts, fruits.... it's fantastic. So, i would absolutely stay here again and i highly recommend that you do as well. A young Shepard throwing a stone at a goat heard it crash against pottery and discovered the scrolls in caves in the mountains. The visit was rather disappointing: you can’t go to the caves and you are limited to see the ruins of some early Christian sect and a small museum.
