This spacious home is perfect for a medium-sized family or several couples, and dogs are welcome to join in on the fun! Our office is right here in the Powderhorn area with on-site maintenance, housekeeping, and reservation staff ready to help. You’ll always have support nearby, and if you’d rather not stop in, we’re also available 24/7 by call, message, or email. Whatever works best for you, we’re here to make your stay as smooth and stress-free as possible. Nestled in the heart of the Upper Peninsula, the Powderhorn area is a true four-season destination. The neighborhood also offers great local spots to enjoy—grab a hearty meal at Iron Nugget, sip a coffee at Copper Cup, try out a beer at old Iron Brewery or try a local favorite at Pit Stop, Uptown Café, or Club 28\. You’ll also find shopping, live music, and seasonal festivals nearby that bring the community to life. In winter, you’re just steps from Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort and a few miles from Snow River for skiing and snowboarding, along with direct access to hundreds of miles of scenic snowmobile trails. When the snow melts, the adventure continues with hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, fishing, and exploring the beauty of the Northwoods. Bedroom 1 (main level)- 2 Twin beds Bedroom 2 (main level)- Queen bed Bedroom 3 (upper level)- King bed We are conveniently located just off US-2 and only a few miles from Ironwood Airport, which offers daily flights through Denver Air. Whether you’re arriving by car or by air, our location makes getting here easy and stress-free, putting you close to all the area has to offer. The lower level is a recreation haven, complete with a double futon, pool table, sports-themed bar, 1 bathroom, a sauna, an indoor hot tub (available Dec. 1 - April 1), and a washer and dryer. The main level offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, while the upper level includes 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, as well as a cozy loft/reading nook, perfect for curling up with a good book. The living room features a large brick fireplace, creating a warm and inviting space to unwind. Outside, a deck off the front of the home comes with a grill, ideal for outdoor meals and taking in the mountain air. For added comfort, central air, Wi-Fi are provided throughout the home, and an additional Spectrum TV offering 150 local and basic channels . Poleski is located just 4 blocks from the main ski lodge, making it an excellent choice for those looking to ski and explore the area. The layout was good. Lots of room. It had several updates, widows, interior doors, carpet, etc...Very conveniently located, only 2 streets from the ski hill. A few negatives: the place could have been cleaner and could use a good dusting. Also the hot tub water was not clean. The main shower did not get very hot and the drain was clogged. Use of the amenities provided lots of opportunities for quality family time. The cabin is more spacious than I expected. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to settle in and spread out. There are 2 living areas: one downstairs by the pool table and one in the main living space. There is also a sitting area upstairs overlooking the living room and fireplace below. Beautiful cabin, wonderful memories were made. We plan to return next year! ##### Jacquelyn P. Great place and location overall - missing a few amenities. Missing a few ammentities usual provide. No shampoo or Kleenex in the unit. Managements response was we don't provide Kleenex or shampoo in our rentals. No thought to convince of guest having to seek something typically supplied in all hotels and every VRBO I have rented. Also pillow provided were sub standard compared to most hotels and VRBO rentals. ##### Jeff S. My family of four adults stayed at this home and found it more spacious than it looks from the outside and inside pictures. Three levels and plenty of room for more guests than the four of us. The living area and kitchen made our mealtime comfortable and afforded us nice family time together since we could cook and hang out in the same space. Since we visited in the summer the location was a bit off the beaten track for our activities of hiking close to the Lake Superior shore but there is a very nice town, Ironwood close by that was fun to visit and has some interesting things to see. The accommodations were clean and the beds were comfortable. The trash from the previous renter or renters, was left outside by the entrance door and attracted a lot of insects which was not so nice. It would have been lovely to of sat outside on the decks, there are three outdoor spaces but no tables and only a couple of plastic chairs, after using the grill (that was hard to light) but we understand that this property is located very close to a ski resort, convenient in winter, so not needed and probably challenging to store. If we are back in the area again during the winter months I would stay here again, If you’re looking for a great place to stay close to a ski resort you’ll love this house! ##### Elizabeth T. Plenty of space and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our only small irritation was the dogs next door that barked a lot.
