The home features 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main level, with a kitchen, dining area, living room, and an additional bathroom on the upper level. Our office is right here in the Powderhorn area with on-site maintenance, housekeeping, and reservation staff ready to help. You’ll always have support nearby, and if you’d rather not stop in, we’re also available 24/7 by call, message, or email. Whatever works best for you, we’re here to make your stay as smooth and stress-free as possible. Nestled in the heart of the Upper Peninsula, the Powderhorn area is a true four-season destination. The neighborhood also offers great local spots to enjoy—grab a hearty meal at Iron Nugget, sip a coffee at Copper Cup, try out a beer at old Iron Brewery or try a local favorite at Pit Stop, Uptown Café, or Club 28\. You’ll also find shopping, live music, and seasonal festivals nearby that bring the community to life. In winter, you’re just steps from Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort and a few miles from Snow River for skiing and snowboarding, along with direct access to hundreds of miles of scenic snowmobile trails. When the snow melts, the adventure continues with hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, fishing, and exploring the beauty of the Northwoods. Patio doors open to a deck with a gas grill, where you can relax and enjoy the slopes. For relaxation, there's a sauna on the main level, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the home. Mountain View offers easy access to Lifts #2 & #3 along the Flintlock Trail and Lift #4 along the Trigger Trail, making it the perfect spot for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. The house was very comfortable in a very peaceful and relaxing setting. It was so conveniently located to explore and partake in many activities, from biking on the Manitowish Waters trail, kayaking on Giles Flowage, swimming at Sunday Lake and hiking Presque Isle, Black River Harbor Rec Area, Lake of the Clouds and Copper Falls. Clean, warm, cozy and beautiful location! Only concern really was running out of Propane in the middle of grilling and there is no bin for recycling (so we mostly carried it out). Loved using the sauna after a day trip to see the falls and Lake of the Clouds. Would’ve loved to stay longer and will return for sure!
