"Well, although there was a booking issue and I was unable to check in as they close the office after 9 PM I have to say I got an excellent response from Lauren the next morning. The third party booking glitch was explained and they are working to resolve this for future customers. Lauren provided excellent customer service and assured a prompt refund. I will definitely be staying here in the future due to the good customer service communication that was prompt. The property looked great and any frustration having to find another hotel for the night was erased the next morning with Lauren's good communication. Although this location is quite a ways off the 15 Highway its reviews and value compared to other hotels I think make it a great choice. Hopefully my next booking goes glitch free. Do make sure to call if arriving after 9 PM or you won't be able to check in as nobody is in the office and they will arrange for late check in only if you call in advance. My problem was I booked on a third party site after 9 PM so it slipped through the cracks. "

"It was a most relaxing setting on the river and great views and night sky. Very clean and well equipped. Roomy and quiet. Great communication with owners. Would have loved to stay longer ! And definitely recommend it! "

"This is an amazing (newer)basement apartment/property with all the amenities you could need. This property has a very well thought out design and is very clean. The apartment has an exterior stairwell that makes coming and going very convenient and private. The owners were on site and were very friendly and accommodating. We were very pleased with our stay!"

"Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best experience. We contacted the host when we got to the home that the water heater was not working. They were quick to respond but they were unable to help since they don’t live locally. We quickly realized that there was a short in one of the water heaters and it had burned through the insulation. We turned off the breaker to the one water heater and tested the second one, it still didn’t work. We let the owners know. Unfortunately, there was nothing that they can do so they said that they would come the next day. They came in the middle of the morning, and they were unable to fix it. Instead of having a plumber, they tried to do it themselves. When they couldn’t fix it, they said they had bypassed to the second water heater but we told them that the 2nd one didn’t work either. They said that there was nothing they can do at this time. We spent the whole weekend without hot water. If you haven’t been in pine valley before the water is seriously finger numbing cold. In addition to this, the home has been beat up a bit. The BBQ grill had not been cleaned in a long time and you can see that it has already caused a fire on the deck. There was black smoke and melted vinyl siding all around it. Thankfully they had a griddle next to it that we were able to use. There was also a sharp corner on the countertop in the kitchen where a tile fell out and it’s sharp. I wish it would have been better"
