We wanted to stay somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of campus as that is not our vibe, and the turtle dome was perfect. It was peaceful and relaxing, clean and well-equipped with everything we needed and just a short drive for groceries, restaurants, and gas. The bird watching was amazing and the communication with the hosts and the little extra touches to make us feel welcome were above and beyond what I have seen in other VRBO listings. It was about halfway between Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park, both of which we visited while staying at the Dome. The main bedroom and bathroom in the upstairs loft area are very open, and there is no sound isolation from the main living area if that's an issue for you, but otherwise it is a great family vacation spot. ##### Scott H.
