"This is a very nice old farm house. The inside has been re done and was very nice. We stayed 2 nights to attend the NIU at Notre Dame football game. Very short drive to South Bend. Most of our time was spent outside enjoying the fire pit. Every room had a window air conditioner and an oscillating fan which made for a comfortable temperature. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and accessories which was very helpful. More than most VRBO's we have stayed. We would stay here again."

"Our group of 5 women (all 65+) had a great time. The pool was awesome, and the owner keeps it up nicely. The pool stairs and handrail are just what our group needed. Our host responded freaky fast when we had our one snafu (lighting the grill) so we had no problems at all. That being said, this is probably better suited for a young family due to a few smaller sized rooms and the stairs. We definitely appreciated having the privacy and the kitchen is well stocked, even for this picky group."

"My family and I cannot say enough good things to see about this property. The house was even better than we imagined. The showers were so nice, we never wanted to get out. The beds were clean and so comfortable and O MY GOSH the couch! The kitchen was FULLY stocked. The only thing we couldn’t find was an ice cream scoop and it would have been nice to have a couple of plastic cups for the kids. We didn’t have any to leave! "

"Great weather and stay with family. Home was large and well appointed; there were many areas inside and outside the home to entertain us. Was a little disappointed that lake wasn't swim friendly."

"I am from Wisconsin and my dad and I were looking for a place to stay out of state for the weekend. This place was absolutely perfect. Tucked away in a soybean field with its own personal driveway it was a the perfect spot for a relaxing quiet weekend. We were met my the owners when we arrived and they couldn’t have been nicer. The cabin was quaint and cozy and fully stocked from silverware and cookware all the way to grilling supplies and firewood. Great town as well with tons of parks nearby...
