Perfect stay in Berlin!

I had a very nice week at City Pension Berlin. The place is two minutes from S-bahn station Charlottenburg, which make it easy to get around in the city. My room was clean and I slept very well in a nice bed. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was a nice atmosphere there. Right next to the pension there are lots of restaurants, cafès and shops. I would come back next time in Berlin!

Sehr freundliches Personal, aber in die Jahre gekommene Zimmer. Gute Lage. Zimmer nach hinten ruhig. Das Gemeinschaftsklo konnte man gut benutzen.

Nära Charlottenburgs station och mycket centralt men lungt område. Runt hörnet finns en korvmoj som säljer Currywurst.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Dusche reserviert. Die Dusche war durch eine offene Ecke mit einer Wand im Zimmer integriert und es gab keine Toilette im Zimmer !!!!! Die war dann auf dem Gang, eine Gemeinschaftstoilettte ! Geht garnicht. Die Einrichtung war alt und verwohnt, die Fenster, Türen und Heizung völlig veraltet. Dadurch wirrkte alles unsauber und ungemühtlich !!!! Nicht wirklich einladend, eher verwohnt und veraltet, einfach schmuddelig !!!! Zum Abgewöhnen............

Preis-Leistung ist ok aber dafür sind die Möbel etwas veraltet. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, ruhige Lage auch ist da versprochen und das stimmt. Nur ich würde die Toilette echt vergrößern. Sie war zu klein und zum Glück gepflegt.

Pillows garbage, rooms dated, even at the budget cost, you can get better for the price. When I booked our first stay, I asked for early check in due to a 13 hour flight, and I was ensured that we could check in at 9am when we arrived, we were made to wait until 2pm for our early check-in. I'm giving this place a miss next time we are in berlin. The only good thing is the location closeness to a train station.

Don’t let the suspicious entry scare you off

A lovely hotel with basic service and standard but with a flair. High ceilings and old-fashioned long drapes. Art and old posters in the dining room and long corridors with carpets. As if from an other era. Some things were broken in my room and fixed with silver tape but the bed was high quality and the water in the shower warm. The hotel is quiet and has 24/7 service.

Parille yölle hyvä, pidemmäksi aikaa etsi muu

Hotelli on lähellä julkisten pysäkkejä/asemia. Lyhyt kävelymatka ja olet Alexanderplatzille vievän U:n asemalla. Jos ei jaksa kävellä, menee tuolle asemalle toisen linjan metrolla (asema ohan kulman takana). Juna-asema vastapäätä. Kävelymatkan päässä on KaDeWe ja alueen ostosmahdollisuudet. Itse hotelli kaipaa päivitystä tälle vuosituhannelle. Huone oli iso, meillä oli kylpyhuone huoneessa. Kylpyhuone oli varmaan rakennettu myöhemmin ja oli hieman epäilyttävä rakennelma. Suihku oli rikki ja ensimmäisenä iltana jäi suihkut väliin. Seuraavana iltana oli jo korjattu. Aamupala oli aika niukka verrattuna suomalaisen hotellin aamupalaan. Mutta kyllä sillä pärjäsi. Autopaikka oli aika nuhjuisella sisäpihalla. Mutta paremmalta tuntui jättää auto sinne kuin kadun varteen. Hyvää oli sijainti ja ystävällinen palvelu, melko hyvä aamupala. Huonoa yleisilme ja -kunto. Kyllä tässä pari yötä nukkuu, mutt pidemmäksi aikaa etsi muu hotelli. Hinta liian korkea tasoon nähden.

Ideal für Städtereisende mit kleinem Geldbeutel

Wer nicht zu viel erwartet ist hier gut aufgehoben. Haltestellen (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Bus) fast vor der Haustür. Trotzdem der Nähe des Bahnhofs Charlottenburg hört man keine Züge. In der Pension, die in einem Altbau untergebracht ist, ist die Rezeption im ersten Stock ist rund um die Uhr besetzt. Die Leute sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles, was Standard ist und sogar am Sonntag frische Schrippen. Das immer ist klein aber sauber. Der Städtereisende braucht das Zimmer aber sowieso nur zum Schlafen. Ich würde für eine Berlinreise jederzeit wieder dort buchen. WLAN funktioniert gut.
