The description mentioned that sheets were provided, and they meant just that, only sheets were provided. There weren't any bedspreads or blankets in the cabin any where. The kitchenette was tiny with a dorm-sized refrigerator, coffeemaker, sink and microwave. Dirt road to cabins was rough but it is april and has been a rough winter so i am sure they will fix once weather is better. Very nice place. Friendly staff at the lodge welcomed us with giant smiles and answered all our of questions. The cabin was cozy and warm with ample space. Large, clean bathrooms. Especially loved the wood stove. The cabin was clean and looks to have been recently remodeled. Now the bad. The cabin was not as advertised and the listing was dishonest. The cabin was listed on Vrbo as having a fireplace. In the photos of the cabin listing there is a wood burning stove. Unfortunately there was no fireplace or wood stove. We were very disappointed. I was not notified until checking-in that the cabin has no internet service. This was not in the listing which I feel is deceptive. The cabins are in a small village of A-frames jammed in against each other. Our fire pit was between our cabin and our neighbor’s cabin and sat 5ft from the edge of the other cabin’s roof/wall. A dangerous fire hazard. Drafty windows made the cabin quite cold. There were not enough blankets for us to use so we had to pull blankets off the second bed to stay warm. The amenities are bare bones—no toaster, tiny coffee maker, no kitchen towels, no glasses! The Sofa in the living room is old and worn out you’re basically sitting on a wood frame. We had to use bed pillows to sit comfortably. The entire operation seems like a ploy to force you into the lodge for their pay-to-play options. The host provided poor communication. I had to spend 40min chatting with Vrbo to get check-in instructions before we could leave for our trip. The experience was poor. The bed was comfortable and had everything we needed for a quiet weekend. We did not take the time to check out the pool but the tree top restaurant was nice.
