We booked our stay here due to great reviews. Upon arriving, it seemed like a great hotel -- we got a huge corner room on the top floor, hoping that meant less noise from neighboring rooms. When we checked in, the desk clerk told us housekeeping was done every other day, no big deal. HOWEVER...our room wasn't cleaned the first day, so we figured it would be cleaned the second. It was not. Nor was it cleaned on the third day, even after we had asked two people if the room would be cleaned (a housekeeper and desk clerk), and both said yes. I also had to go to the desk for extra towels and shampoo (empty shampoo bottle in shower from day one). On the fourth day, I went to the desk and asked the THREE employees standing there about the housekeeping schedule, and the response from two of them was -- "they won't clean if your personal things are on the bed," and..."they won't clean if you left the sign on the door." Neither of those things applied in our case, but instead of a normal hospitality response (e.g., "I'm so sorry, we'll take care of that right away"), somehow it was our fault our room didn't get any housekeeping until the fourth day AND I had to ask on at least three different occasions. That, and the unfortunate customer service related to it, was the most annoying thing. Also there is no heat source in the bathroom, which is on the opposite side of the room as the heater..brrrrrr FYI, you can hear EVERYTHING from other rooms.
