Peaceful Family Friendly Private Lake Waterfront Home Close to Beach and Hiking
At this escape to the tranquil shores of Lake Whittemore, you are minutes from skiing, hiking, markets, breweries, and the Monadnock region. Your afternoons are spent paddling (kayaks + canoes included); your evenings by the outdoor fireplace; your dinners with friends around the screened in dining room; and your calming days in nature. You have two queen beds + a pullout couch. Minutes from a beach, skiing and golfing, charming Peterborough, local restaurants, and hiking!
Our home makes the perfect getaway whether it be just a weekend or some much needed relaxation time.
The house is set back off the road, and there is ample privacy between neighbors. Step inside the front door to find an open concept living/dining/kitchen area, that is well stocked with anything you may need during your stay. There's an island with three bar seats in the kitchen, and a dining room area with four seats. The living room has a flat screen tv, board games, thoughtful decorations, access to the back porch, and a fireplace. Also as mentioned previously, there is a pull-out sofa bed in the living room for two extra guests if need be.
As you make your way down the hallway, there is a full bathroom on your right, with the two bedrooms close by. Both bedrooms have ample closet space, and the master bedroom has the laundry area in the closet for easy washing. The master bedroom also has direct access to the enclosed porch and views of the lake.
Our property has been thoughtfully curated to make sure that you and your guests have the perfect place to stay and getaway from reality. Our property is sure to meet any expectation you may have!
*There are two exterior cameras on the property. One is on the front of the shed next to the house monitoring the driveway, and the other is on the back porch facing the back yard.

This cabin is super cozy and clean! It made the perfect home away from home for our “Moms and Sons” ski trip. The beds were comfy and the towels were fluffy. We were able to bring groceries to cook for our boys. The host was in regular contact!

Host had great communication skills, amenities matched what was listed. Peaceful and quiet location. One thing I would like to recommend is having something to prevent the living room carpet from slipping as it moved around when walked on. Other than that, I would stay there again!

The host Lauren was absolutely amazing! Accommodating, forthright, open honest communicater! The house/amenities were exactly as described/pictured. Only regret is that it was winter so we were unable to use the beautiful porch/yard/lake. Will have to return in warmer weather.

Beautiful home!! Very warm and welcoming!! Nice touches throughout. Host was also great to deal with. Bet the lake is absolutely beautiful come spring, summer and fall from this location. The sunset was pretty last night looking at the lake.

This place is a real gem. The location is excellent an having the lake right at your doorstep is fabulous. The house was well equipped and beautifully furnished and had the most comfortable beds we have ever encountered. The fireplace is a real bonus. Overall we property felt very private yet it’s less than five minutes away from town. We hope to stay there again.
