Only 12 minutes from Bendigo CBD, less to Bendigo pottery, or various short drives to wonderful haunts like Colbinabbin Silo Art, Echua, Heathcote, Bridgewater, Castlemaine, Maldon, Reasdale & Axedale. Generous apportioned cabin, which can sleep up to 4, Separate Bedroom with Queen Bed, Separate Bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and family room complete with a sofa bed, full cooking facilities, continental Brecky offered upon request. The cottage has a wonderfully comfortable bed and extra pillows, blankets, Netflix, Internet, candles.The kitchen is roomy and has everything you need, with various teas and delicious condiments, bread and fresh eggs provided by the nearby (well behaved chickens). The outdoor space features a charcoal barbecue, large deck, different seating options, and a lovely countryside view. On clear evenings, you can enjoy a star filled sky. This lovely property is a quiet cabin in a rural area fully fenced and with a lovely outdoor space. The owners live on the property but are respectful of privacy. While compact, our hosts provided everything that one could need, including many thoughtful touches. The breakfast items, including fresh farm eggs, were generous and very tasty. It is very safe for a pet dog, and our border collie spent hours gazing through the fence at the chooks that ranged around the yard. We would certainly consider staying at this property again, not only as a stop on a road trip, but as a base to explore the Bendigo region.
