The river itself is a desirable family-friendly destination, with river tubing, kayaking, and paddleboarding all exciting options. Pay a visit to downtown Bend, just 8 minutes away, and enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the local breweries and taprooms. For the outdoor enthusiasts among you, there are plenty of trailheads nearby for scenic hikes in and out of the Deschutes National Forest, or you can visit the extinct Pilot Butte volcano, a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the area. If you’ve come to the area for the fresh powder and challenging ski runs, Mt. Bachelor is a ½ hour drive away, making day trips to and from the slopes a breeze. Bedroom #2 includes a queen size bed and a work desk with chair. Bedroom #3 includes 2 twin-over-twin bunk beds. The home also includes a half bathroom and an additional full guest bathroom with an oversized single vanity and shower/tub combo.
