Your eyes will immediately be drawn to the massive hand-hewn cedar arches. Handcrafted by Finish architects, they starkly contrast with the snow-white ceiling. The floor to ceiling windows perfectly frame the beautiful forest outside. The great room was the ideal space to hang out and have everyone in one space. Radiant floors were great but somewhat glitchy and overheated areas at times without any adjustment to the thermostat. The hot tub cover doesn’t work nor did the jets and the steam shower was out of order but not mentioned in posting. The play room was great for the kids and adult kids. The grand ceiling heights, massive hot tub, state of the art kitchen, adjacent grassy field, spacious bedrooms, and picturesque community were all highlights. Aloma is a terrific and accommodating host. There is a shuttle bus serving the community that is very helpful as Ubers are difficult to get. The house was impeccably presented, well furnished with high end touches and very comfortable. This was an amazing property. We have rented homes in the Sunriver area multiple times in the winter and summer over the past decade, and this home was the best we’ve rented thus far. The backyard views were stunning and the amenities go on forever including the 12 person in ground hot tub, amazing game room, perfect after a day of skiing for the kids. The kitchen is gorgeous and is equipped with high end appliances and everything you would want or need. Including a six burner range with a flat top griddle, the built in espresso machine was very popular! The host was amazing and responded immediately to any questions we had.
