Located in a quiet, wooded area on the eastern you'll be ideally situated to activities, like golf, hiking, cycling, and shopping and dining at The Village at Sunriver, just five minutes away. And, we'll make it even easier! Your visit comes with eight passes to SHARC (Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center). Stow the kayak, hang the socks up to dry, and gather under the gentle breeze from the ceiling fan in the big, open living area where there's plenty of room for everyone on the soft, sectional furniture. Sip on a drink and discuss tomorrow's itinerary as you listen to one of the CDs you brought along. If it's cold outside or you're stuck inside on a rainy day (a rarity in this region that enjoys an average 300 days of yearly sunshine!), slip one of the DVDs you brought with you in the player and enjoy a movie on the wall-mounted flat screen. Or, slip out on the deck and warm up in the hot tub. If you're feeling a little antsy, head to the rec room where you can rack 'em up for a fun game of pool. There's another TV in here with a VHS player. Pick a tape from the library and watch a flick in here as well. When you're hungry, follow the beautiful hardwood floor into this home's fully equipped kitchen where your cooks will have all the appliances, counter space, cabinets, and utensils they'll need to make just about any recipe come to life! There's an additional bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom (perfect for the kids!) with a twin bunk. Two full bathrooms will make getting ready quick and easy. And, you needn't pack too much. When the clothes pile up, just head to the washer and dryer in the laundry room and take care of them. Bring the bike and your hiking stamina over to Deschutes National Forest, less than 10 miles to the east, where you can spend the day hiking and cycling among some incredible scenery. The house was big enough for our family of 5\. It came with bikes and beach towels which we used nearly every day. The kids liked to play basketball in the driveway, play pool, and go in the hot tub. The pros: House was well stocked with three paper towel rolls, dish soap, garbage bags, hand/body soap, plenty of toilet paper rolls, trial size shampoo/conditioner and laundry detergent. Lots of pots and pans/cookware and dish ware. Layout was nice with the extra play area to spread out. It’s one level so if it’s good for young kids. Comes with bikes in decent shape. The youth bike was unusable. The seat was too uncomfortable. The cons: It was too hot with no ac. Days were in the low to mid-90s during our stay and even though it cooled considerably at night, it made the late afernoon and evenings uncomfortable, especially if we had to cook at all and have the hot stove on. The house does have three plug in fans, in addition to two ceiling fans, that helped. We knew the house didn’t have ac when we booked it, so no lost rating on that. Upon our arrival on Saturday, we saw the large trash bin outside was already full to the brim. We had to leave our garbage outside of it on the side of the house. I read in the binder the weekly garbage oick up was Wednesdays and another on Fridays, so I’m not sure why it was so full. The last con was the wifi. It was so weak we couldn’t even use it from inside our rooms. I was in the driveway trying to look up directions somewhere on my phone and couldn’t get signal.
