Located in the desirable south end of Sunriver, you're only a short distance from to the Deschutes River and SHARC (the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center) via the convenient walking and bike paths right behind the house. Mt. Bachelor, with its excellent skiing, is 21 miles from your door. A spacious driveway and garage allows everyone to park comfortably. With high ceilings and enormous windows, the common areas are sophisticated and welcoming. The living room features updated furniture and a wood-burning fireplace in the corner that warms the air on chilly evenings while you select something from the DVD and VHS library to watch on the all-new Smart TVs. Each has Roku with guest mode to safely access streaming apps. Stay connected by logging onto the WiFi to surf the web or check weather reports for the next day. The well-stocked kitchen is ready to be put to use, featuring all new appliances. Brew some coffee to get you going, then use the mixer to make something a bit complicated. When you're done, whisk the dishes into the dishwasher and enjoy your meal at the lovely wooden dining table or the breakfast bar. If you're in the mood for barbecue, use the gas grill on the deck and eat outside in the fresh air. After a long day, have a soak in the hot tub on the deck to chase away any aches you picked up on the mountain. Once you're feeling nice and mellow, head back in and put some music on the stereo. The master bedroom, upstairs, has access to a private balcony. With a new king mattress and lots of natural light, it's a great place to have some private relaxation time. Downstairs, another bedroom with a new king mattress has huge windows. A third bedroom has two twin-over-full bunk beds, so the kids can have their own private domain. Eight guests can comfortably stay here, with dogs welcome to join for a small nightly fee. The home has two full bathrooms, so scheduling mirror time won't be difficult. Don't fret about the inevitable spills - there's a washer and dryer available to make sure everyone's clothes stay clean. This home is perfect for families with children vacationing together. In the garage, in addition to the Ping-Pong table, there are enough bikes for everyone (child or adult) to explore the nearby bike paths. Head down to the Deschutes River to watch the sunsets, and maybe catch sight of a beaver family building a dam, or hear the calls of owls. Spend time in the woods or by the river, or head to Fort Rock Park to play some tennis. Golf fans can choose from one of the many public golf courses in Central Oregon. Grab the bikes in the garage and head to the Village Mall for an ice cream or a visit to an on-site restaurant. If you're here during the season, you'll love the proximity to Mt. Bachelor Ski Area, only 21 miles from the house. With some of the best snow conditions in the country, this area plays host to many professional and Olympic skiers. It was cozy for two families (8ppl) and has just about everything you need. The style and decor is stuck in the 90's but when you're there for the nature, that doesn't matter so much. It was close enough to Bend and Mt Bachelor for us to enjoy both during a long weekend. My gripe is the fees tacked on to the nightly rate which makes the house not worth the cost. Every possible fee (hot tub fee, pet fee, resort fee, booking fee, damage waiver, etc. and then another fee to Vacasa) is not included in the nightly price, so you have to wonder what the money you pay per night is going to if not at least some those fees. Fees for us were over 100% more than the nightly cost. It just felt like another way to fleece more money out of us (reminds me of Ticketmaster). So when you see the nightly cost for this home, keep in mind your final bill will be more than double. ##### Mike H. The house is dated, with older furnishings and has not been updated for a while. The house smelled a bit musty and the rugs in the kitchen looked dirty. The washer had a black film in it that looked like grease or sand. The king bed in the downstairs bedroom was very comfortable, but the upstairs king was really hard, squeaky and uncomfortable. The bunkhouse room was great if you had kids but didn’t work to good for us older ladies. The deck area was awesome, hot tub fine and the kitchen had the things for cooking you might need, minus any spices oils,wrap,foil, ziplocks. The bikes were more for adult men, with only one ladies bike. We enjoyed the SHARC passes and had some fun in the lazy river there . ##### kimberly R. Beds were good, kitchen had reasonable equipment, and the adult bikes were very good (we didn't use the kid bikes). We also really appreciated the ping pong table. Some of the furniture/appliances are a little "tired". Dishwasher didn't work that well, some deck furniture starting to sag/fall apart, TV had very low resolution and internet/cable kept going out. ##### devorah g. Good space for two families with four kids to all have different activities. Right onthe bike path, which was perfect. Hot tub was great, kitchen well stocked. The house doesn’t have the fanciest, latest appointments, but we preferred it that way. Felt like visiting a well-cared for and clean family home. ##### Emily B. They have thought of everything, even if you have infants, toys and security gates for stairs are all there. The layout was nice and worked well for our family. It has everything we needed it. It has lots of bicycles and sharc passes that we didn’t use at this time. The kitchen is very well equipped. The jacuzzi was really nice. They have TVs in every room with a great selection of dvd and vhs. The cable provider was not the best, very limited channels but we didn’t watch a lot of it. We spent most of our time outdoors. The A/C works great! Vacasa did a great job, the house was very clean and it’s like a hotel, they provide white towels and basic toiletries. Overall, a wonderful stay! ##### Allie H. The beds and sofas were very comfortable, we used some bikes to explore the area (through the golf course-with beautiful views of the river and mountains), played ping pong in the garage, watched old vhs tapes (Indiana Jones!).. the hot tub was perfect after a long day of snowboarding. Some of the dishes were kind of dirty, but overall, we loved staying here. We even ran in to someone from vicasa, and he was very nice, asking us if we needed anything. ##### Nikki H.
