After traveling two hours to reach the property, I stood waiting nearly 30 minutes with no help at check in. When someone finally arrived, his behavior was deeply unsettling and he appeared to be under the influence. My fear grew worse when I was shown to a hut with a door lock that did not work at all. What truly shook me was being in a secluded area, dressed in a suit and tie as an American traveler in Africa, and then having two other men repeatedly beg me to stay. In that moment, I did not feel like a guest. I felt vulnerable, isolated, and unsafe. There was no internet access, no reliable way to call for help, and even when Hotels.com tried to contact the property, no one answered. I never checked in. I never stayed. I left immediately because I genuinely feared for my safety. What should have been a place of rest turned into a terrifying situation that forced me into another four hour round trip just to get back to safety. After more than a decade of loyalty to Hotels.com, it is heartbreaking to think I could lose money over a place that made me feel endangered. "The staff were excellent — warm, professional, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. The property and lodges are clean and well kept. It sits quietly entrenched in nature with an authentic tropical vibe and plenty of hidden gems to explore. The tours were fantastic, drawing on a beautifully preserved natural environment that feels truly untouched while unearthing some really great historical finds from the early 20th century. The beach was the crown jewel — phenomenal views with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that have to be seen to be believed. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with world-class hospitality, this is Liberia’s best-kept secret."

"Clean room, staff and amenities. Every single staff was very friendly and nice, always willing to help and tried their best to provide anything I requested. My stay felt like home and I will definitely be staying here again anytime I visit Liberia. The manager, a very great guy and very friendly and always checking to make you are ok. Thank you all for making my stay wonderful. I will recommend this place 100 percent."

"sewer smell in the room is strong especially when the AC is off. The bathroom is super outdated, but overall good customer service and prompt room service. Hotel management needs to do better with renovating and maintaining the hotel premises"
