Michael was a very quality host who answered all our questions and made us feel at home, but was not too intrusive on our stay. He was perfect. Now the home itself....not many words can truly describe it. Being an open-air home in the jungle was such an amazing experience. It immerses you into the jungle. You get to experience sites and sounds found in very few other places on the planet. Yes, there were things to get used to (no AC, bugs, critters, sounds, etc.) but those are the things that make it feel authentically jungle. We found our sleep schedules change in a natural way and as a result we felt more refreshed each and every morning. I've never enjoyed a 5am morning coffee more than in this house watching toucans, macaws and other birds fly about and listening to howler monkeys in the distance. We wouldn't have wanted it any other way!"
