If you want to zip up to Dockside and Torch Lake, you can do that too. If you want to cruise the Grass Lake and watch the sunset coming back, it's perfect! Even better than the photos. The house is spacious and had everything we needed. The kayaks were awesome! The water was just a little too cold to swim in since it was still May, but we enjoyed our time on the dock and in the kayaks. The hot tub and fire pit were amazing too. The host is very responsive, I reached out to her several times and always received a quick reply. It is very close to the downtown Bellaire area, just over 10 minute drive. It was extremely clean. The cabin had a very nice cedar/oak smell, and the owners thought of everything you may need while staying here (shampoo conditioner, plenty of towels, little makeup wipes,etc.). The cabin was gorgeous with an amazing view. The fire pit, kayaks, and hottub were a very nice touch! We made breakfast in the kitchen one morning and it is a beautiful kitchen to work it.
