Comfortable beds, fireplace, kitchen with anything you need and not too far from town! Beautiful woods, in fact outside every window that’s all you see. It was very peaceful and quiet. We didn’t get a chance to check out the trails down the road, but we used this as a home base to go to Traverse City, Mackinaw City, Petosky and Charlevoix. We made most of our meals there as the kitchen has everything you need and stuff you didn’t know you needed lol!! We didn’t need to communicate with the hosts, everything was as the directions and details stated, although from all the thoughtful details the hosts have done to the house I’m sure communicating would not have been an issue, they truly want you to enjoy your stay there.
