The Host was very responsive and friendly. He answered questions patiently and quickly. My only comment (not complaint) is there are a lot of stairs. However, I didn't ask about stairs, touche! It's October, so the weather is always roulette. We were able to enjoy the beach, too cold and rainy to get out on the lake. It's very cute decor and loved the coffee bar every morning while looking out at the lake.We found several nice golf courses that were close like the R&R ranch and Arrowhead golf courses that were affordable and well kept. We had a fire and wood was provided for us. The Bostwick bakery has wonderful donuts and cinnamon rolls. The Grattan pub and the Horses Mouth Tavern has good food. We also went to the Hop Hog in Lowell which has excellent wings.(Half price on Thursdays) The Bostwick Lake Inn was costly and not that impressed with the food for the price. We saw lots of wildlife like herons, swans, turtles, and a snake. Not sure I would swim because of all the seaweed. The house is lovely but the beds need an upgrade and much of the furniture. I slept in the room off of the kitchen and it's very firm. The other bedroom they said they had sunk in the middle. That's the only reason for the 4 instead of 5-star rating.
