Conditions wise, the rooms are a little dated, with the laminates or veneers peeling or tainted, but very spacious. Cleanliness is good. Hotel one block from a subway station so it was easy to get around. In Beijing you must use taxi's or the subway to travel around so being close to a subway is important. Hotel staff helpful and spoke passable to good English. There are no good restaurants, bars, nightlife, or tourist attractions nearby - this was the biggest drawback.
