We loved staying at the Old Saint Johns Church. It is quaint, quirky and very cosy. There were thoughtful provisions in the fridge and the fire was laid ready to be lit. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable.

Schimmelrasen

Auf den ersten Blick sah alles sehr schön aus, aber dann sah man doch erhebliche Mängel. Am schlimmsten war der riesige Schimmelrasen an der Badezimmerdecke und der dadurch entstehende modrige Geruch, der uns nicht schlafen ließ. Die Schränke waren innen sehr dreckig. Schade, denn die Umgebung ist wunderschön, aber Schimmel ist gefährlich. Fazit: Nicht buchen.

Peaceful getaway

Gorgeous surrounds with lots of bird life. A few accommodation options on site- we stayed in the Chalet. Well equipped with beautiful crisp white bed linen and soft fluffy towels. Has a small kitchen. Full sized fridge stocked with goodies including bread milk chocolates and a meal and wine for your first night. Lovely hosts. Highly recommended for a quiet weekend getaway.

Lovely getaway with my sister. Hosts were so friendly. Lovely dinner and wine provided and some gorgeous garden flowers given to us when we left. Will definitely be back.

Beautifully renovated old church in Beechmont

We loved our stay in the church. We had actually booked one of the other accommodations on the property but the situation let us stay in the church. We arrived on Friday night, the lights in the church were on, music was playing, the aircon was on so the church was nice and cool. Fresh pasta sauce was prepared. Absolutely amazing experience! We can highly recommend it.

Cute little church

Great place! Amazing pasta dish left by owners, only downfall was not enough to wood for the two booked nights and dog fur all over the couch but otherwise a great lol getaway!!

Fully self-contained cottage with incredible views

My mum and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate her 67th birthday. It was a last minute booking, and I'm so glad I came across it. The cottage has two good sized bedrooms, a lovely kitchen/dining/lounge and a fabulous deck with views across the valley. Everything we needed was provided, including a fridge full of provisions and a delicious pasta dinner for our first night. The owners even provided a bottle of wine, chocolate, cheese and crackers! The location was perfect for us to explore Binna Burra, Mount Tamborine and Canungra. The cottage is so comfortable to come back to after a busy day. It's also pet friendly, so I'm sure my husband and I will book in again with our fur babies. Thanks Wilson and Christine!

Heaven;y - Clouds on Beechmont

This is an excellent 2 bedroom chalet with great views. Fully equipped with many extras included. A stocked fridge, dinner, wine fruit, chocolate, cheese & biscuits. Well stocked DVD library and CD collection, comfy beds, very clean and best of all we were allowed to bring our pet dog!

This place would be an excellent surprise getaway!

A really beautiful spot. Amazing views from inside and outside the accomodation. Beautifully restored Church with dramatic mezzanine bedroom complete with 4 post bed! Has real wow factor on entering. Owners are very friendly and add delightful finishing touches including home cooked dinner and a bottle of wine - both were really good. We had the best time, really loved it!

Love this place!

My partner and I stayed at Old Saint Johns Church mid August and we could not fault it. The owners were incredibly down to earth and welcoming, even going as far as having a homemade pasta sauce on the stove ready to enjoy for dinner. The church is full of old country charm but has the benifits of modern accommodation with reverse cycle air-conditioning. With incredible bush walks a short 15 minutes drive away and perfect serenity you could easily be mistaken for thinking that you were much further from the rat race that is Brisbane and Gold Coast city. Old Saint Johns Church was a home away from home with its fully equipped kitchen, lounge room with TV, bookshelve filled with board games and DVDs, washing machine, a fridge stocked with the essentials and a custom labeled bottle of red wine to settle in with as you sit in front of the fire. This place was certainly hard to leave.

Family Friendly and Lovely Relaxing Holiday

We spent the weekend at Clouds at Beechmont and loved every minute of it, felt a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city that we wanted to escape from. So much thought and effort was put into making our stay a memorable one. Our two boys loved it, especially all the wildlife and birds. Would highly recommend.
