"A nice lodge and conveniently located near some trails. Still an our drive down to Kings Canyon. No a/c. They will give you another fan if you need. There is coffee in the lobby every morning and a community microwave. We hiked the Mist fall trail which was beautiful. We started our hike at 7:45 am and it was warm when we finished around noon. We take our time with lots of pictures."

"Property was very nice. It is rural and you can see the stars at night. The house is very spacious and clean. The only issue was that the air conditioner unit didn’t work well and didn’t cool off the house until the middle of the night and it was very hot in the house - 82 degrees. Other than that, it was a perfect stay."

"Would like to give a 4.5 star rating since the room was nice, bed was comfortable, hotel was clean, staff was professional, and amenities were as described, but the water is an issue. Water pressure was low and hot water was virtually nonexistent. Yes, the hotel was very full. But that should not be an excuse for a basic part of any travelers stay to be deficient."

"We've stayed all over the country in larger places that boasted this and that but this little place kicked our butts for having everything we needed and wanted. Since we were not going to be there a lot because of hiking, sight seeing and the like, we didn't want a massive overblown room. It sits behind the main place so it was secluded. We absolutely loved it. Thanks Melanie."
