Staff was great, cleanliness was great, bed was comfortable, but the overall conditions on the room I had, was not so great. Whoever did the remodel did a horrible job and should find a new profession. Paint job was terrible, the bathroom door didn’t work (I was stuck in the bathroom for a while). Then the knob fell off when I turned on the water in the shower. Maybe get some professional contractors to spruce up the pace instead of just putting lipstick on that pig?

They have a pool plus it's very quiet & convenient for me. The staff is alright. We have stayed there every time I go to Matagorda which it's been 3:times in the past year. Will stay there till it closes.

The property was where my association was having an event, so to stay there was a convenience. The room was nice and clean…just old. The hotel itself needs renovating. The people were nice and friendly. The only thing I will say negative is that I was sent a text for online check in. I filled it out and sent it back. I get to the counter for the key, I have to fill out the same paperwork all over again. That didn’t make any sense. The room rate was excellent, but no breakfast.

Older model but clean and a value

Granted this model hasn’t been updated in awhile and there is fairly much road noise, but service was really very good, especially room service. They got a good tip because they kept the room stocked up and spotless every day. I would stay here again.

We stayed there at least twice a year for the last 5 years it's always been a decent place to stay, at, friendly service ,decent rooms for the price we get there this weekend for my dad's funeral , they ate renovating, all the rooms, there's nobody staying in them the pool was nasty , rented a two queen size room and got a double it was terrible I asked him about it and they told me they didn't want to put the new beds in the room cuz it was a smoking room. I was just very disappointed this time because nowhere on their website or even through the Expedia website said that they were renovating that motel.
