One of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was incredible. All of the staff were as nice and professional as you could hope for. And the location to enjoy Verano was perfect.

Location, location, location! You could not find a better located hotel, outside the door you are literally in the Piazza Bra and next to the Colosseum. The included breakfast is one of the best we had in Italy. The room was on the small side with a very small bathroom. The bed was excellent. However, the location more than makes up for this when you’re there for a couple of nights! The restaurant that is adjacent to the hotel and the Amarone risotto for two dish was the best! Also easily walkable to all the other attractions in Verona.

The hotel determines a level of air conditioning that it feels is appropriate for its guests. So it will block your ability to lower or activate the air conditioning unit even though they have AC. Definitely a cost-savings measure. First night there was fine as i could lower the temp to 20 C or 70 F. Second night, they arbitrarily determined to limit the lowest temperature to 22 C. There was no air movement - fan or AC - in the room. We had two rooms and both rooms had this issue. We were told that this was a hotel wide minimum temp block. None of us slept the second night. Look elsewhere if you’d like to actually sleep - especially in shoulder seasons. This would otherwise have been a fine place to stay but what good is it if you can’t actually have a good nights rest. PS, when I called the front desk in the middle of the night, they acknowledged the issue said there was nothing they could do. Lol
