« This island is like taking a step back in time. It is quiet and makes you feel as though you are on a private beach. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our house was clean and everything was easy to navigate. The ferry and land transportation were easy to navigate (we used island head).We will definitely be back! »

« If you love the creeks in the Lowcountry.....this is the place!! Fishing and crabbing from the dock. Catch your bait with a cast net. Tracie was a great host and all the bird feeders full....the variety!!! Three, maybe four types of woodpeckers!! Wood storks, Ibis, egret, heron, marsh hen, laughing gulls, a roseate spoonbill and barn swallows down by the creek and marsh. « What a spot! So tastefully put together, everything imaginable for staying here, location was right in the Historic District and 2 blocks off of the waterfront; we felt like we lucked out booking this property! Owners were very kind and accommodated our early arrival. We shall return!! »

« The cottage is stunning with paintings by the owner herself. It was like staying in a gallery. Every detail was accounted for and we have absolutely nothing to suggest for improvement. « This was our first trip to Daufuskie and we loved our stay! Jay was a wonderful host and quick to reply to all of our questions! Everything we needed was available for our stay. Only tip I have for guests has nothing to do with the home or the island, but with the Lowcountry Ferry we took from Hilton Head to Daufuskie and back. The passenger fee for the ferry is fair, but the cost to bring supplies (groceries, bikes, extra luggage) was very expensive - much much more than advertised by the ferry...
