It's a large lot providing total privacy on a quiet, dead-end street. Your closest neighbor is the golf course. It's a mere six-minute drive to Sandy Milway Beach on beautiful Barnstable Harbor. You'll also want to check out nearby Barnstable Village for the shops and activities. Grab a Grilled Veggie and Cheese Panini at the Barnstable Market. Become addicted to the Nirvana Coffee Company. Go on a whale watch cruise or charter a fishing boat and see if you can catch dinner. Back at the house, let the kids splash in the heated pool while you take a soothing outdoor shower, then fire up the gas grill and prepare to dine outside at the umbrella-protected deck table. Or on the large, screened porch with its striking vaulted, multi-colored ceiling. This is relaxing outdoor living at its Cummaquid Cape Cod best. Inside the house, you'll discover a very tastefully designed, furnished, and decorated open floor plan. The social kitchen is well equipped and features granite counters and stainless steel appliances. There's a good-sized center island with high-boy seating for a couple of kids or meal prep kibitzers, plus a second sink to use for food prep or as a wet bar. The adjacent dining area walks out to the deck and pool beyond. There are two separate lounge areas in the house, each with plenty of very comfy seating and a smart/cable TV. This is single-level living, so there are no stairs to climb. Sleeping accommodations include the king primary suite with a luxurious king-size bed and a full private bath ensuite. Two other bedrooms have a queen-size bed in each. The fourth bedroom has two twin beds. The additional sleeping area is a private room, it is provided with a full-size futon. This room does double duty as a home office. There is a second desk/work station in the twin bedroom. The house has three full baths in all. Room for our family of 5 and my parents. New well appointed kitchen and baths. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the pool was so nice to have especially on July 4th when the beaches were mobbed. The property managers provided all the information we needed and were very quick to respond to the few questions we had. Great location being just a few minutes from Millway beach and a marina where we took a whale watch cruise. We highly recommend the Dolphin restaurant for accommodating our large group last minute one night and food was great! Thank you to Pretty Picky Properties for managing our stay. Spacious family room attached with sunroom was the best and most used and enjoyed by all. The swimming pool was clean, and the water was warm for us to enjoy in October. The location was great, with short drives to beaches and towns. Very nice pool (although there were issues with the heater during the first couple of days - fixed via property manager). Checkin etc was very straightforward, and the property manager was very prompt in responding to any issues. Texts were returned within minutes of being sent. Overall, a great rental. Some minor issues: home could use more serving dishes and towels for the size of the home. ##### K K. I would suggest more stringent warnings related to ticks- the back yard was full of them. But this aside, the house was lovely, the kitchen well appointed and we had a very nice stay. Check in and out was easy- especially, as storms moving up the east coast made our trip slow going from the Philadelphia region and we arrived later than intended.
