Showcasing some of its history, the cottage is adorned with simple, rustic furnishings, and is not equipped with cell service. From the moment you walk inside, you will immediately feel at home amidst the classic ambiance. You'll adore cooking amidst the updated kitchen's stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, as well as two bedrooms upstairs. Each is as inviting as the last, splashed with natural lighting and featuring warm wood finishes. The downstairs bedroom even has a desk if inspiration strikes as you gaze out at scenic farmland views. A private washer/dryer and direct parking in front of the cottage tie together the marvelous perks. Be sure to be extra careful during the snowy season as snow and ice can accumulate on the driveway. Within quick driving distance of The Daydream Cottage, visit Saskadena Six Ski Resort for marvelous winter recreation, Silver Lake for days on the water, and Downtown Woodstock for delicious dining and shopping options. We originally could not get into the house via keypad and there was no service so we had to drive 15 minutes into town to call the property manager to reset the code to get in. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it and there was an infestation of lady bugs on the ceiling in the living room. The downstairs shower water also gets extremely hot randomly while showering which was very painful. I don’t know if I would stay here again but it was doable for a last minute booking. ##### Stephanie L. My family enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Though furnishings and appliances were not perfect or top of the line, they were functional and adequate.We were not able to get the pin pad door lock or house key to work when we arrived and luckily one of the owners was able to let us in. The next day we were able to get the pin pad to reset and it worked well for the remainder of our stay. When we arrived, there were dishes in the dishwasher and were not clean. We found a couple dishes on the shelf that were not clean as well.
