Being able to sit and relax watching the city go by was such a treat. The apartment was clean but there was no welcome pack on arrival. Just bare minimum, bottle of water and two coffee capsules which was slightly disappointing. We had a slight issue with where we could leave our luggage. We were told one location which was incorrect and ended up costing us €10 taxi which the office didnt offer to pay even though it was not our error. This didnt impact our stay the apartment is in a great location and we would stay here again. The property manager worked with us on coordinating arrival and met us at the property on time. We arrived by car, and parking was available in a nearby (1 block) parking garage for a reasonable price. The apartment is tastefully appointed, clean and modern, and was more than adequate space-wise for our small family. The balcony overlooking the Diagonal was a pleasant bonus. Location wise, this apartment is on a very busy, main thoroughfare and there is some background traffic noise, however, this location is close to the metro, and within walking distance of many nice shops and cafes. In addition, the property manager was very helpful with tips and suggestions, and made himself available on a moments notice if needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to prepare soup to bring to our friend's house one night. The location is great if you like shopping or visiting Gaudi sites. Easy bus and subway lines to El Born and La Boqueria. The second bedroom is kind of like a large closet with no windows, but the bed is good and it is quiet.
