The Space: Welcome to my 80 m2 recently renovated apartment located in Poble Sec, an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, and conveniently located next to Eixample neighborhood. ⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. The Neighborhood: Sant Antoni is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. Its non-official centre, the marketplace of the same name—designed by Antoni Rovira i Tries and built between 1872 and 1882—is one of the oldest and most popular in the city, especially with the secondhand book stalls that surround the building Sunday mornings. It is bordered by the neighbourhoods of the L’Antiga Esquerra de l’Eixample, the Raval, and Poble Sec. The streets of Sant Antoni follow the grid pattern prevalent in all of Eixample, except for a central thoroughfare, the Avinguda del Mistral built on the site of an important medieval road which led out of Barcelona. Another well-known landmark of Sant Antoni is the bar called Els Tres Tombs, right next to the market. Getting Around: The closest metro station is Poble Sec (Line 3). The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça España. Place is definitely smaller than the pictures. The air conditioner made the whole house cool enough. There is an elevator so if u have luggage you don’t have to walk up the stairs. The host let us drop our bags early and leave em a few hours after check out too. Communication was easy and quick and they respond with any questions. There wasn’t any soap or sponge to clean the dishes or trash bags for the trash cans but the host seemed to think there was, I’m not sure where the miscommunication is but over all a really decent stay in a good spot with quick access to metro.
