### Modern and Ideal for Families in Barcelona Eixample

Apartment is located in the center of the city. Ideal for family and group of people who wanted to experience living within the heart and authentic flat of the Barcelona city. Located in Exaimple (city center) neighborhood very close to Boulevards, La Rambla catalunya-gracia (walking 4 blocks) , market Ninot and also from the center city plaza catalunya and old walled city. (10minutes) Great area for nightlife, excellent restaurants and sightseeing, 2 blocks to underground metro station (blue line - Hospital clinic). The apartment is furnished, comfortable, well lit, clean, and recently renovated. Three rooms, 2 with double bed and one room has 2 single beds , one bathroom, a living room with dining table, and with 1 balcony. Maximum occupancy is for 6 people. The apartment is completely furnished and includes fresh towels and linens , internet with wi-fi, tv and basic utensils for cooking and dining. Clothes washing machine and line drying in the inner patio.  
  
Services include WiFi, fresh towels and linens upon arrival. You can use the kitchen stocked with your favorite breakfast essentials and relax in the beautiful common area. Central air conditioning for all flat, and modern heating units as well.  
  
Eixample is a safe and residential part of the city but there is also a vibrant nightlife and a thriving café culture. Eixample is a beautiful barrio to wander round, take in the glorious architecture and people-watch from one of the many terrace cafes. It is in Eixample that you will find some of the best, and most expensive, restaurants in town, along with some very affordable lunch menus. This combined with some internationally known music bars makes the area a very pleasant place to spend the evenings. Transport to and from the area is good. Eixample is serviced by several metro stops, as well as the FGC train. However the area is very central and most other parts of the city are within walking distance.  
  
The apartment is only 5 blocks to Paseo de Gracia: Train station to Sitges, Metro Stations (Hospital Clinic L5) , Plaza Cataluña. Two blocks to the stop Bus, to Barceloneta Beach (20'), the Gótico and Born area. There is a farmers market 5 minutes away (Ninot Market). 6 blocks from the Areobus stop (Plaza Universidad) and 2 blocks from metro station Hospital Clinic (Line 5 blue) which is the same line that connects to Sagrada Familia basilica and also Sants train station. Transport to and from the area is good. Eixample is serviced by several metro stops, as well as bus service and FGC train. However the area is very central and most other parts of the city are within walking distance. If you need taxi pick up service please tell me, I have some recommendations. Welcome to our home!

\- Do not leave keys lock on the inside, as you might forget them when you leave the apartment.   
  
Barcelona tourist tax paid on arrival with cash (excluded children younger 17 years old). Barcelona city tax is 4 (+VAT) euros per night per adult for tourist apartments (updated June 2021).

Great apartment to stay at during our stay in Barcelona. Close to Passeig de Gracia and the rest of the city, with some good spots nearby to eat and have a drink. Would not hesitate to repeat!

We really enjoyed our stay in this well located and beautifully appointed apartment. We are a family group and the transport was easy. Hans gave us a very clear guidance and a wide range of information about Barcelona. He also organised our airport transfer which was reliable and good value. Why do VRBO and other sites feel like an overpriced Youth Hostel? The pictures look nice, soft, and inviting, but the reality is harsh paint, garish lighting, no decor, and odors. Is it worth giving a poor review? No, bc it compares to the other offerings and is passable. Since the cost of a VRBO is comparable to a hotel, why am I not getting some of the warmth and amenity of a hotel?

The host and apartment have been wonderful, clean, modern, good central air conditioner. Welcomed us and gave a quick explanation and information for Barcelona, sites to see and favorite restaurants. Perfect location 10 minutes from Metro station, half block from modern indoor food market and tapas bar,in a very nice family neighborhood district with restaurants and bars but also quiet, the double window balcony doors blocks all street noise. Apartment newly renovated, very well equipped kitchen, looks just like in the pictures. Hans suggested a taxi friend who picked us up at the airport in a van for 6 people, very friendly driver and spoke English too. Also kept in contact with host through email and cellphone, and quickly answered all our questions that arise during our stay. Overall great experience,great host, recommend 100%.

#### Comfortable Apartment

Just a block or two to metro or buses, closeness to Mercado in El Ninot was wonderful for buying food and household necessities. Owners recommended La Tierra (exceptional) and Bosque Palermo (reasonably priced good Spanish food) and only one block away. Lots of small shops in the neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable. Owners very responsive., easy to communicate with WhatsApp.

#### Für 6 Personen nicht geeignet

Wir waren als Familie zu sechst in Barcelona. Letztlich ist die Wohnung zwar mit 6 Betten ausgestattet, jedoch in Gänze keinesfalls für 6 Personen ausgerichtet - insbesondere das sehr kleine Bad (ca. 3qm) mit einer Toilette ist hier limitierend, auch der Essbereich ist sehr klein. Die Wohnung verfügt nur in zwei Zimmern über (relevante) Tageslichtfenster und ist sehr dunkel. Die Photos im Inserat spiegeln dies in Gänze nur sehr eingeschränkt wieder, "frisch renoviert" trifft ganz sicher nicht zu. Die Sauberkeit ist in Ordnung, wenngleich hier auch durchaus mehr Standard zu erwarten wäre. Die Wohungseinrichtung einschl. Kochuntensilien ist eher spartanisch. Alles in allem keine wirklich uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

#### Viva Barcelona!

Renting this property was easy from the get go. Hans replied to all questions in s timely manner and Allen was there to meet us on arrival. The Metro was conveniently located and we enjoyed walking to restaurants in the area. The only suggestion I would have, is to place a non-skid bath mat in the shower. It is slippery. Our only regret is we didn’t plan a longer visit. Thank you to Hans for hosting. Nancy

#### Bra läge men saknar fönster

Allt var bra med lägenheten (läge, in- och utcheckning (förutom att det enbart fanns fönster ut i två av sovrummen. I kök, hall, vardagsrum, ett sovrum saknas fönster. Det gör att det känns instängt och ger ingen behaglig känsla.

#### Exactly as described

This apartment met the needs of my family of five. The pictures and description are accurate. The apartment isn’t stylish or special but it was what we needed. It was nice having the washing machine to freshen our clothes. FYI: The shower is quite small so a person who is very overweight may not fit easily. Most major sites in Barcelona were reachable by bus in about 20-30 minutes.

#### Quite nice and great location.

The apartment manager met and transferred the keys easily. The apartment was clean and appointed well. All the appliances worked and the beds were very comfortable. Great grocery store up the street towards the University and a really great bakery across the street with delicious bread and pastries. Taxis passing by every few minutes. We would definitely rent again.

#### Super logement à 15 minutes à pied de la Rambla

Appartement fonctionnel très propre et bien situé. Nous étions un groupe de 6 jeunes ce qui rend la tâche de trouver un logement plus difficile, et pourtant nous avons été très bien accueillis par Hans qui nous a même aidés à commander un taxi pour notre départ. L'appartement est conforme aux photos et le balcon est agréable. Seul le salon était quelque peu étroit et renfermé. A part ce détail, la location était pratique et plaisante, à quelques minutes seulement d'un supermarché LIDL et à 5 minutes de la station de métro Hospital Clinic.
