Some issues

Very spacious and in a good area but could have been much improved with a few things. The beds and pillows were very hard and only a sheet provided, no duvet or blanket. There was only one remote for the air con units in each bedroom. The rear terrace needed a good clean to be fit to sit on. The door didn't shut in one bathroom and one bedroom.

Exactly what we needed!

Great location, great apartment. Host was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was very clean and well-appointed. And the location is great--close enough to everything to be convenient, but far enough away from major roads to be quiet at night. Would highly recommend!

Spacious and great location

Our family of five (2 adults and kids ages 8, 3 and 11 months) had a wonderful stay at this apartment. While it wasn’t pristine it felt clean and modern and just needs a paint job. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apt (always difficult to know when looking at pictures) and loved all the old world charm of the building and the balconies. Our kids loved playing outside on the patio and if the weather had been nicer we would have spent more time out there. We were pleased that linens, towels, hand soap, and toilet paper was provided so we didn’t have to rush out to the store when we first arrived. We requested a pack n play before arriving and it was there when we checked in. We also made good use of the washer and dryer throughout our stay. The kitchen had most of the basics that we needed, but we ate out most nights. Our host Jeffrey was very friendly and provided us with helpful info about the area. The location was great for us, relatively quiet and maybe a 10-15 min walk to major attractions. The neighborhood itself felt safe and upscale and there were plenty of bakeries, cafes and tapas bars within a block or two of the apt. We highly recommend this apt and look forward to staying here again in the future!

For Barcelona, the apartment is very spacious. You can not beat the location; just a block from Gran Via an a short walk to La Rambla.

Great Locations!!!

I couldn't be happier with the location. Close or easy access to everything. Also on a street that is not too busy so street noisy is not an issue. The apartment it self is roomy. However, this unit is run down and definitely needs some work. Furniture is worn and stained. A few light bulbs burned out. (Main Bathroom) Beds not too comfortable. There is water damage in the kitchen that needs attention too. The overall cleanliness was poor. Looks and feels like minimum effort is used for everything. Which is really too bad. With just a nice coat of paint, a few repairs and some furniture and bed upgrades this apartment could be outstanding. Although location was ideal, I will stay elsewhere next time.

This apartment was in the right location but lacked in the niceties that I have come to expect from VRBO. There was the constant smell of sewage from the master bathroom. They provided the absolute minimum in service. No nice bathing products, No instructions for using the tv etc. No guides for recommendations to the neighborhood. No welcome pack for 4 people except 2 small bottles of water and 2 tea bags, 2 single serving milk (this was for 4 people for a one week rental). There was also mold in the dishwasher and the laundry room. The pictures were obviously taken many years ago. My above says it best. Rent from an owner. They take care of their rentals and renters.

Great location and neighborhood, spacious apartment perfect for 2 couples.

Just spent 2 weeks in this apartment with another couple and had a great time. We loved the city and all it has to offer. Easy walk to many sights and lots of markets nearby for food if you want to cook. Many nearby restaurants to walk to or a short cab ride away. The apartment feels very spacious, plenty of room for 4 people to share. It may be a little to big for just 1 couple. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. Having a washer and dryer was a huge help. With the front balcony doors open it is a little noisy from the street, but much quieter when they are shut. The little patios off the back bedrooms are quiet and nice to be able to step outside. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, but my guess is not many cook in it. We did have breakfast everyday in and did make a few dinners. It did lack a few small essentials, like a potholder and dish towel. Also a few extra towels would have been nice. Each person had 1 bath and 1 hand towel. So we were washing towels frequently. All minor details. Overall we had a great experience, loved the city, felt safe, did not get pickpocketed and recommend this property.

Great stay close to Gothic Quarter... and everything!

Great property and location!!!! The only issue we had was the neighbour 2 floors up kept sweeping water and dirt on us when sitting on the patio. She “ssssh’d” us even when we were whispering outside.... yet her screaming baby woke us up at 6:00 am. Other than this.... unit, location, and host were perfect. Close to everything!!!

The apartment was great. Clean, spacious (we were family of 5), quiet and had everything for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere- beach, Goudi buildings, shopping, park Güel (Only if you enjoy long walks). Definetly would stay there again.

On the whole we found the apartment spacious clean and tastefully decorated. It would have been nice to have had a few extras. Visiting Barcelona for 4 nights you don’t really want to buy essentials. There were “pills” for the dish washer but no cloth, tea towel, or washing up liquid. Some soap powder for the washing machine and maybe instructions. A notice about the bins outside would be helpful as to which was which! There were only 4 wine glasses , it is a sleep 6 apartment, we had some friends round and had to drink wine out of beer glasses! I don’t think guests do much cooking though there were plenty of saucepans, but no salad bowl. The duvet cover on the big bed was badly torn and the smaller bed noisy/squeaky, loose springs? The showers were good though the main one could have been a bit cleaner round the seal. The little arrival pack was nice for 2 people we were 4! We enjoyed our stay , but a few little extra touches would be worth doing.
