GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD \- It is a typical neighborhood of coastal towns, quiet, charming and with emblematic buildings. \- Just one minute from the house is the seafront, with clear water beaches, typical fishing boats and beach bars where you can enjoy night and day. \- During the summer, all the villages in the area celebrate their typical parties so there are many activities to participate in, a lively atmosphere, fireworks, good gastronomy, etc. \- Every Thursday of the week, in the same village there is a market of clothes and fresh products of the area. \- On Sundays in the morning there is another market with ecological products of the season, called Market of the Flower, at only 10 minutes on foot of the house. \- Near the village is a large water park called "Fantasy Island". \- In the web "maresmeturisme" you will find more interesting information about the area. HOW TO MOVE \- The Vilassar de Mar station is a few minutes from the house. There are trains every 7-15 minutes towards Barcelona (lasting about 35 minutes) or towards the Costa Brava. To get to the village from Barcelona: Barcelona-Plaça de Catalunya or Barcelona-Sants the R1 train line to Maçanet-Massanes or Mataró to the stop "Vilassar de Mar", about 35 minutes. \- By bus, every 30 minutes to Barcelona, lasting about 40 minutes. \-You can also reach the village via the motorway or via the N-II road that runs along the entire coast. OTHER ESSENTIAL ASPECTS \- Smoking in any apartment will incur an additional charge of one extra night. \- Take into account that arrivals between 09:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. have an additional supplement of €50\. Take that into accountThere are beautiful pictures of a swimming pool which is one of the main reasons we booked this place but the pool was empty and could not be used, this wasnt in the listing and I wasnt informed at the time of the booking.The title of the apartment advert specifically has POOL in the title. Very disappointed in that it wasnt available. The host was very response as we had an issue with the door lock which was fixed within an hour. ##### David W.
