It's location offers peace and quiet, yet the Island's villages, ocean, lakes, & hiking trails of Acadia National Park are just a short drive away. You can swim in any of several pristine nearby ponds, lakes, or harbors. The property is quiet, with no traffic. The cabin was spotlessly clean,and very comfortable due to having an air conditioner. It had all of the linens you need. The outside area is a kids paradise with a jungle gym, teepee, there is a fire pit. We didn't have young kids with us, but if we had they would have loved it. And the cabin is just over a mile from Town Hill which has a market and a couple dining options. Check in was easy. The cabin was as expected based on the listing photos.
