If you don't feel like cooking in our fully stocked kitchen, you won't have to drive far to enjoy a great meal. Plenty of hiking trails within a short drive of the property. About 10-12 minute drive to Beech Mountain resort. Found it a little odd there was no hand soap at the house for washing hands. This included both bathrooms, and in the kitchen. With how much this house cost, I would have imagined little things like hand soap would be taken care of prior to checking in. Overall it was a great time and a nice house. ##### Jacob J. The fenced in yard was wonderful for our dog and we loved eating dinner on the back deck. This was a great location. Close to the rec center where we walked a few trails. The kitchen has every device known to man, often in duplicate. The cabin is cozy but in need of sprucing up. A fresh coat of paint would do wonders. We enjoyed the patio facing the woods, for night times chats and early morning coffee. It rained quite a bit which made the time in the cabin even cozier.
