Come enjoy all the High Country has to offer as you stay at Lilly's Mountain Escape. This cozy mountain home has an unbeatable location, just a short walk from downtown Banner Elk or a short drive to the towns of Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain. On the main level, guests can enjoy a beautiful kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and stunning custom cabinets. Around the corner, you and your family will love to spend evenings gathering in the living room, with a gas log fireplace and large Smart TV. From the main level, you can step outside to access the main wrap-around covered porch, with a hot tub and gas grill. It is the perfect place to relax after a day in the mountains or exploring Banner Elk. Going up to the second floor, you will find the primary suite with a king bed, a private TV, a welcoming gas fireplace, and an ensuite bathroom that offers a luxurious soaking tub and a beautiful tiled shower. From the primary suite, you can step onto the upper wrap-around deck and enjoy the mountain air. Down the hall, you will find the second king bedroom, which also offers a private TV and access to the upper deck. The third bedroom is nearby with the final king bed and private TV. The shared bathroom is located conveniently in the hallway near these rooms. Beech Mountain Ski Resort and Sugar Ski Resorts are each under 15 minutes from the home. Banner Elk offers multiple dining establishments such as Bodega's, Sorrento's, Stonewall, Bayou Smokehouse & Grill, and more. Additional Notes: \- Up to 2 mature and well-trained dogs are welcome for an additional rent of $25 per night per pet. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. \- The Garage is used for owner storage and is not available for guest use. There is parking for one vehicle on the driveway with additional street parking available. \- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided. \- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am \- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. \- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. \- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. \- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. \- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. \- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of he deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Very well kept, clean close to the ski slopes. Truly wonderful and will stay here again. Only complaint would be the parking. The driveway only accommodates 1 car and the garage door was broken. It was a 9 out of 10 experience overall with an unusual and unnecessary negative. Halfway through our stay, the upstairs guest bathroom toilet started to overflow from a clog. We searched and were told there were plungers on the property but found nothing. We were then told that the cleaning crew would stop by to unclog the toilet but they never showed. This was a simple fix but did not happen leading to uncomfortable and unsafe back and forth up and down stairs during the night by my family. Other than this weird occurrence we enjoyed the week. ##### Bob A. The town music was excellent, and we were entertained on deck. The property was very clean, well equipped, very comfortable and everything was in working order. We want to stay there again next year. A few minor items: Upstairs bathroom top of stairs- hot faucet on sink moves around. Master BR fitted sheets had some sort of blue wax on it. Water pressure a bit low and ran out of hot once. Shower head in MBR a bit difficult to use. Hot tub's cover a bit aged and very heavy. Not sure if recycle available but left note on our 1 bag which we left in garage with other garbage bags. ##### Stephen O. It was in a perfect location for access to downtown. The hot tub was great. Perhaps some instructions for removing the very heavy cover would be helpful. It's walking distance to downtown - shopping, pubs, restaurants - and campus. Well-appointed. Open space great for gathering. Well-managed. Ammenties are absolutely cheap. Be sure and bring soap and hair products and coffee and sugar and cream because the host supplies are laughable if even offered. Also they charge over 100 dollars for a cleaning fee but demand you clean for yourself. Empty and store trash start dishwasher etc. ##### John m. Good location right between both Sugar Mountain and Beach Mountain, 30 minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and Tennessee. Place was clean and well stocked with the amenities you'd need for your stay. Towels, toiletries, kitchen appliances and utensils with extras. A few things need some attention as do all places this is a home so I believe its to be expected. Overall we would stay again and recommend to others we had everything we needed and had a great time.
