We rang the owner, and Wotif rang the owner. Both responses were if people want a clean place to stay, they should go somewhere else. I would be very surprised if Wotif allow this hostel to book through them ever again."

"If you are after the cheapest room in Melbourne City, then this is the hostel for you. The single room was basic, but fine for the price. Very convenient with a tram outside on Elizabeth St. The kitchen, toilets and bathrooms were filthy, so wear shoes inside these areas."
