Kangaroos visit the front yard most days. The birdlife is prolific, and the jetty is perfect for catching a Bream. Very few select properties are located on Banksia Peninsula with drive time to Bairnsdale or Paynesville less than 15 minutes – about the same by boat. Dec 19, 2020 #### Our stay in Kookaburras Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I booked "Kookaburras", as the rental property is known, over Xmas 2020, for a family get-together.When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised to find, apart from the usual tea, coffee and milk, a loaf of fresh bread and a jar of local raw honey waiting for us. The location was ideal. It was quiet and peaceful with access to a lake - which one of my sons made good use of with a Zodiac which he had brought up.The house was well appointed: four generous bedrooms, with the main one with an en-suite and a large living/dining area with an outlook onto the garden.
