Villa Santai is built by using traditional and modern materials. The entire ground floor is open, except for the bedrooms, giving you the great ‘outdoor living’ experience of the tropics. The living room and the bedroom on the top floor are built entirely by using materials of an originally-Sumatran home. Through the use of natural materials such as hardwood, teak wood and natural stone floors and granite, the villa exudes the real Balinese atmosphere.

Villa Santai is very spacious and has a large tropical garden of 1600m² that borders directly on the beach. The garden is beautifully landscaped with coconut palms, mango trees, frangipani trees and lot of tropical flowers and plants. The villa has a beautiful, naturally landscaped private pool of 75 m² and a jacuzzi to sit and relax. The swimming pool also has a shallow area where children can sit and play and a small ‘natural’ waterfall to enjoy the sound of the flowing water. Around the pool you will find a large terrace with sun beds and a bale benong, the typical Indonesian rest house with a thick mattress and pillows, to relax.

The villa has 4 tastefully furnished bedrooms with a double bed in all bedrooms, ceiling fans and air conditioning for a pleasant temperature. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasins. Two bathrooms on the ground floor are made in Balinese style, these are partially outside with a so-called ‘open air shower’. The villa also has a family room with a sofa and a Smart TV. This family room also can be used as 5th bedroom because the sofa is a pull-out sofa bed for 2 people, making the villa suitable for up 10 people. All rooms are located on the ground floor, with the exception of a large bedroom on the first floor. Here you find a beautiful four-poster bed and the bedroom is decorated in authentic Balinese style. The top floor bedroom also has a balcony from which you have a wonderful view of the beautiful garden with adjoining the beach and the Bali sea!

The villa has a nicely furnished living area with a seating area and dining table for 10 people. Also there is a large kitchen that is equipped with all modern kitchen appliances. Because the ground floor is entirely open at the front side, the living area forms a whole with the terrace, garden and swimming pool. The villa also has a large rooftop terrace with a dining area and a second bale benong, the ideal place to unwind and to relax.

The views from the bale benong and the rooftop terrace are gorgeous! At the front you can look out over the swimming pool, the garden and the sea, at the back you can see the rice fields, vineyards and in the distance the mountains surrounding Lake Bratan and Lake Buyan.

The villa is equipped with all modern conveniences such as free Wi-Fi internet access, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, washing machine, safe deposit box and there are movies, books and board games to use. On top of this, 6 days a week friendly and welcoming staff will be at your service! Two ladies in the villa take care of the cleaning and the laundry and they can prepare the most delicious meals for you. They also can do the groceries for you and will buy fresh fish, meat, vegetables and fruit on the local market every morning.

You can choose every day what you want to eat, in the villa is a list with menu suggestions to use, but the staff can cook all kind of dishes for you, Asian as well as Western dishes, they are fantastic cooks! The villa has also a gardener to maintain the pool and the garden and a security guard in the evening and at night.

The staff costs are fully included in the rental rate, also the preparing of all your meals is included, only the groceries are for own account. The staff ensures you will have carefree and memorable holiday!

You will enjoy the Balinese ‘outdoor’ living and the space you have inside in the villa and outside in the beautiful garden adjacent to the beach.The villa is also ideal to stay with children because of the spacious lay out, the swimming pool with a separate children’s pool and the garden has lots of grass to play. Lovina is known for the dolphins which you can see every morning at dawn during a boat trip. Due to the large population of shrimps at this particularly coastline you will find here year round many dolphins. The boat can be surrounded by dozens of dolphins jumping and playing. If you book a trip, you can arrange to be picked up by a boat in front of the villa.
