Si l'ensemble de la décoration et du lieu est plutôt originale, on s'aperçoit vite que c'est un simple coût de peinture qui a été donné pour faire le moins cher possible, et que cette restauration datte déjà de quelques années, par rapport au photos du site internet. Dans le détail : dans les chambres "Deluxe", parquet flottant stratifié au sol, cassé en plusieurs endroit (très "cheap"). Pas de douche, mais une grande baignoire à l'ancienne qui vous permet d'inonder la salle de bain. Robinetterie incohérente : pas de repère chaud/froid, sens d'ouverture fantaisiste, problème de débit, WC qui flush mal, etc... Dans la TRES GRANDE chambre (presque trop, car peu meublée), une superbe lampe chamdelier suspendue, mais 1 seule ampoule sur 8 fonctionne, bref ça n'éclaire rien... Lampes de chevet design, mais avec interrupteur cassé : il faut les débrancher avant d'aller dormir. Etc, tout est comme ça. De retour de randonnée, lorsque je tournais le coin de la rue, j'arrivais dans un havre de paix. This is a great area near shopping ,restaurants and stree vendors. Patpong night market is a five minute walk down the same street , and ten minutes to the pier. The room was spacious but on the tired side. Would not take much to make it better. Had a lot of trouble with Internet falling out but it did work well in the lobby. Porter tried hard to fix . Ask Male desk staff if you need anything,they were very helpful. Breakfast was poor. Okay hotel if you are just looking for a clean bed . Furthermore we were told check in at 2pm was available but later informed at 4pm. Having pointed out 4pm was acceptable we were given a room that was not in the Bangkok hotel but rather in a apartment building in proximity. It was clear the new room has not been stayed in a while, rotting smell came out of the sink drainage. The location is very good, near to the MTR station and walking distance from Patpong but that's about where the superlatives end. The reception staff and concierge were rather aloof, we asked for a twin room and rceived a room with two twin beds joint together by one sheet eventhough the head of the bed was prepared for two separate ones. There was also only one duvet and one pillow.
