"A very comfortable well appointed lodge with excellent service focused staff. All rooms perched on the river bank with large viewing deck areas, the room also large, immaculately clean, a/c, inside or exterior shower, full bath with view. The food was also very good. Included 5 course served fixed menu dinner each evening, wine very reasona-ble from £12 a bottle. Lovely small pool area for a welcome cooling break. WiFi at the lodge main areas only not in room. "

"A beautiful little campsite with three sites. The two owners grew up here and have created a gem. Everything was built with so much love. Ruben, who welcomed me, was very kind and helpful. The Kwando Core Area Park is just a few minutes away by car. Definitely worth to support these local guys "

"Lovely welcome on arrival. Tent was clean, private, comfortable with fabulous views. Staff were attentive, served us with a smile and could not do enough for us. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful and tea with cookies was a nice touch at 4 pm. We had a wonderful game drive with Dusty, who is very knowledgeable, informing us about local customs in the area too. I was unfortunately not well during our stay, however the staff could not be more accommodating and kind to me."

"Lovely welcome on arrival. Tent was clean, private, comfortable with fabulous views. Staff were attentive, served us with a smile and could not do enough for us. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful and tea with cookies was a nice touch at 4 pm. We had a wonderful game drive with Dusty, who is very knowledgeable, informing us about local customs in the area too. I was unfortunately not well during our stay, however the staff could not be more accommodating and kind to me."

"We have stayed at several Gondwana properties and found this to be the best so far. The location is beautiful with a lot space, out chalet was amazing (all recently renovated, along with the main building). The staff were very helpful and made extra effort to accommodate us. If you have the time, do a morning or evening boat ride to explore the river and see the banks of the national park on the other side."

"We had everything we needed, beautiful setting and area around the tent & around the lodge. We opted in for the dinner in the lodge, it was pricy, but had good choice and we even had a separate main course made for us as we are vegetarians. The manager was very friendly and had some nice short exchanges with him."

"One of the best properties I’ve stayed at recently. Exclusive, luxurious water villas with an exquisite sunset/ national park view. The staff went over and above to celebrate our 10th anniversary there. Their grand welcome and personal attention is unparalleled be it the food or service both were excellent. Everyone from the manager to the guide were knowledgeable and helpful. They don’t leave a single detail out in making your stay perfect, from snacks for the boat ride to binoculars in the room for game drives and painting easel for relaxing late evenings. Their water taxi/ water safari was luxurious with snacks and drinks to cool off in the evening. The meals and massages were amazing. Can’t say enough good things about this place. 100% recommend it for groups and couples alike. Thanks Chobe for the experience! "
